Canyoning

Bovec is a country rich with waterfalls, canyons and steep waters that are transformed by the river Soča’s miraculous emerald chemistry. Indeed, this has to be explored; but even in this exploration we feel the need to respectfully touch these stones which have never before felt the touch of human feet - and then devoutly step aside.

We are talking about canyoning, an activity which makes us sense the impervious majesty of the mountains, the unbeatable power of gravitation and the ever-fascinating colours of the pools. Finally we find ourselves in touch with the primeval, something beyond most modern perception. No-one need fear the art of canyoning, as many gentle variations on this spectacular theme are available, all within easy access.
